Brother Jackson WINS!

Way to go! Catch Rider – Zane Davis and Brother Jackson the Bridle Spectacular Reserve Champions!

A rider substitution turned out to be not only sentimental, but also very rewarding.

When it came time for Brother Jackson to show in the Open Bridle Spectacular, NRCHA Million Dollar Rider Zane Davis took over the reins for NRCHA Hall of Fame trainer Ken Wold. Davis rode Brother Jackson (Peptoboonsmal X Shes Icing Onthe Cat X High Brow Cat) to reserve champion in the Open Bridle Spectacular for owner Daniel Perez. The 662.5 composite came with a $8,784 win check.

Davis showed Brother Jackson throughout his limited aged event career. Since 2014, Ken Wold has been showing the cow horse stallion.

It is often said the cow horse community is one big family. The Stakes has been a great example of this with everyone pitching in to help without hesitation.

Reunited! Zane and Brother Jackson are the Bridle Spectacular Reserve Champions in Las Vegas this week. Thanks to Kenny Wold for getting too sick to ride, and to Kenny and owner Dan Perez for trusting Zane enough to take over the reins on short notice! A 225.5 down the fence!
